Product & setup

What can I dry with the SOTHING Boot Dryer?

It is designed for ski boots, snow boots, work boots, rain boots, sneakers, cleats, gloves, and socks. Position the hose so warm air can circulate freely inside each item.

How far do the hoses extend?

Each flexible hose extends up to 11.81 in / 30 cm to reach deeper into tall boots. Extend only as far as needed and avoid sharp bends that may restrict airflow.

How do I choose the right heat level?

Start with the lowest effective setting. Use L for sneakers and heat-sensitive materials, M for most work or rain boots, and H for thick ski or snow boots that permit higher temperatures.

Can I dry leather, wool, or delicate footwear?

Check the item’s care label first. Use the lowest heat setting and shorter cycles for leather, wool, glued components, and delicate materials. Stop the cycle if the item becomes unusually hot or changes shape.

Drying, ozone & safety

How long does a drying cycle take?

Lightly damp shoes may take 1–3 hours; wet work boots often need 3–6 hours; thick ski or snow boots may need 6–9 hours. Remove excess water and open the footwear fully before drying.

Can heating and ozone modes run at the same time?

No. Heating and ozone freshness modes operate separately. Complete the drying cycle first, then run ozone mode if additional odor control is needed.

How should I use ozone freshness mode?

Use it only with empty footwear in a well-ventilated area. Avoid directly breathing ozone near the outlet, and keep children and pets away during the cycle. Ventilate the footwear and room after use.

Will the dryer shut off automatically?

Yes. Set the 1–9 hour timer and the unit will stop automatically at the end of the selected cycle. Built-in overheat protection provides an additional safeguard.

How loud is it?

Normal operating noise is approximately 50 dB. A steady fan sound is expected. If you hear rattling, scraping, or an abrupt change in sound, switch the unit off and contact support.

How can I improve airflow and drying performance?

Remove insoles when appropriate, loosen laces, drain standing water, and leave the air intake uncovered. Do not cover the dryer or force hoses tightly against the inside of the footwear.
